We didn’t set out to create a coffee brand.
It began after years spent around collector garages, concours events, paddocks and private hospitality, noticing that despite the extraordinary attention given to every other detail, the coffee was so often an afterthought.
The cars were exceptional.
The surroundings beautifully considered.
Then someone would hand you a completely forgettable coffee.
After a while, it became impossible not to notice.
So we travelled to Northern Italy and partnered with a specialist roastery just north of Italy’s Motor Valley, between Milan and Monza, to develop coffees inspired by the same principles that define the automotive world: precision, craftsmanship and the pursuit of excellence.
The ambition was never to reinvent coffee.
It was simply to create exceptional Italian coffee that felt naturally at home in the places we already knew and loved — collector garages, design-led homes, dealership lounges, workshops, concours lawns and race paddocks.
As the brand evolved, so did the vision.
Today, Automobili Caffè® extends beyond coffee through carefully selected collaborations that bring together Italian coffee culture with exceptional British engineering and craftsmanship. From handcrafted Automobili Caffè® by ASTON espresso machines to curated equipment and bespoke commissions, every addition is chosen because it belongs within the same world.
That shared appreciation of automotive culture and heritage has also led to Automobili Caffè® becoming the Official Coffee Partner of the Aston Martin Heritage Trust, a partnership rooted in a mutual respect for the cars, stories and craftsmanship that deserve to be preserved for future generations.
Our collection now includes whole bean coffee, Nespresso®-compatible capsules, handcrafted British espresso machines and carefully curated equipment, each created to complement the experience rather than distract from it.
People rarely remember the logo on the cup.
They remember the conversation.
The atmosphere.
The machine in the corner.
The feeling of the place.
And almost always…
Whether you’re choosing coffee for home, sourcing hospitality for a collector showroom or commissioning an espresso machine, here are the questions we’re asked most often.
Automobili Caffè®is a British luxury brand inspired by automotive culture, with precision-roasted Italian coffee as its first expression. Today, our collection also includes handcrafted British espresso machines, curated equipment and bespoke commissions for collectors, enthusiasts and exceptional spaces.
We weren’t created to compete with traditional coffee brands. Automobili Caffè® was born from the automotive world, inspired by the belief that remarkable environments deserve coffee of the same standard as the engineering, craftsmanship and hospitality that surround them. Today, that philosophy extends beyond coffee into handcrafted espresso machines, curated equipment and bespoke commissions.
Automobili Caffè stands at the crossroads of Italian coffee artistry and automotive excellence. Each blend is crafted in Northern Italy between Milan and Monza, where design and performance are a way of life. We unite heritage roasting with modern precision to create coffee engineered for connoisseurs — elegant, full-bodied, and unmistakably refined. From a collector’s garage to a private lounge, every cup embodies the spirit of Italian craftsmanship and motoring culture that defines Automobili Caffè.
Because they’re convenient without compromising quality. Our aluminium capsules are compatible with original Nespresso® machines, allowing you to enjoy exceptional Italian coffee whether you’re at home, in the office or welcoming guests into a collector garage or showroom.
Use a fine espresso grind – a little coarser than flour. If your espresso runs too quickly, grind finer. If it runs very slowly or barely at all, grind a little coarser. A small adjustment is usually all it takes.
Start with freshly ground coffee and a clean, hot machine.
For a single espresso, use around 7–9g of coffee and aim for 25–30ml in around 25 seconds.
Tamp the coffee evenly, lock in the portafilter and brew straight away. The espresso should flow smoothly and steadily into the cup.
Around 9–11 bar during extraction is ideal.
Each of our blends has its own character.
Super 98® is vibrant, lively and beautifully balanced.
Con Piombo® offers greater depth with notes of dark chocolate, roasted hazelnut and spice.
Senza Piombo® is naturally decaffeinated using the Swiss Water® Process, delivering remarkable sweetness and character without caffeine.
If you’re unsure, our Giro d’Assaggio tasting collection is the perfect place to begin.
